Let me introduce you to the plants of the Australian rainforest, particularly those of south-eastern Queensland and northern New South Wales.

Here you can identify plants by photographs and a brief description.

Just click on the various page tabs, such as “Shrubs” or Trees” and then search alphabetically¬†by scrolling down.

In the “Posts” tab you will find articles and information about rainforest plants, including how to identify them and how to grow them.

This blog is a work in progress with new plants being added all the time – so please be patient because it will take some weeks for the site to develop.¬† If you don’t find what you want on your first visit, please come back again and watch this virtual rainforest grow to maturity.

And if you have any queries about rainforest plants, please feel free to leave a question under the “comments” section or email me at jrlakemedia@iprimus.com.au
